In the past two years, there have been numerous changes to the workplace culture. The hybrid work mode has evolved as a work model, from making work from home the new standard to the challenge of getting workers back into offices part-time.

While many employees got used to working with no specific punch-in, punch-out timing, employers found it challenging to have confidence that employees are being productive while not in office. In a survey done on 20,000 people in 11 countries, Microsoft analysed trillions of Microsoft 365 productivity signals, along with LinkedIn labour trends and Glint People Science findings and found out that “going forward, we need to end productivity paranoia and embrace the fact that people come in for each other and re-recruit employees”.
