Boston’s masked men have indeed been conjoined twins for Boston, splitting the load almost evenly across 2023-24, their stats just about mirror reflections: a 2.53 goals-against average and .916 save percentage for Swayman; 2.57 and .915 for Ullmark.
Montgomery’s counterpart, Sheldon Keefe, wasn’t showing his cards either, though if anybody other than Ilya Samsonov appears between the pipes at the TD Center come 8 p.m. Saturday, I’ll eat my fascinator.
