Published to coincide with an exhibition of Ralph Gibson's work in Hamburg, Germany, Secret of Light brings together several decades of masterful photography.
From Gibson's early days in the 1960s right up until the present day, some 300 works - both analogue and digital, colour and black & white - can be found in the book and show. It also includes some pieces from the photographer's private collection, as well as those acquired by the collector FC Gundlach in the early 1980s and are which are now on permanent loan to the House of Photography at the Dichtorhallen.
