Despite the fact that we spend the majority of our time at eye level or above, going low and taking in the view from below may reveal a completely other world. When done correctly, low-angle photography may result in some absolutely amazing pictures.

In this post, we’ll look at seven crucial methods that can provide you outstanding outcomes. These pointers can help you improve your low-angle photography regardless of your level of experience.

1. Use your rear LCD 

It’s crucial to be aware that you might not be able to utilise your camera’s viewfinder when taking low-angle photographs. This is due to the fact that the greatest photographs sometimes necessitate stooping so low to the ground that you are unable to see through the viewfinder. Instead, you’ll need to use the camera’s back LCD screen to set up your photo. To make this procedure simpler, use a camera with a tilting or completely articulating screen if at all feasible. You may frame your photographs with this function without having to physically go down to the camera’s level. If you frequently take low-angle photos for your profession, buying a camera with a tilting screen is strongly advised because it may significantly improve your outcomes. It’s crucial to remember that while having a tilting or completely articulating LCD screen helps make low-angle shooting simpler, it’s still possible to get excellent images without one. Without a tilting screen, framing your photographs using the camera’s back LCD screen may require you to physically crouch down low to the ground and partially rely on your touch and intuition. If you can’t get the ideal viewing angle, you can still get interesting low-angle pictures by roughly framing the scene on the screen. Regardless of the camera you’re using, practise and experimenting may help you enhance your low-angle photography skills.
