Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare

Here comes our favourite cartoon character, Daffy Dark

Despite doing the whole ‘survival horror with fixed camera angles’ thing years before Resident Evil, Alone In The Dark has always been its less popular little brother. But The New Nightmare does one thing well that Resi was, arguably, struggling with at the time: even today it has effective jump scares and unsettlingly creepy moments. Not as powerful as they were back in 2001, but still impressive.
