Chennai Super Kings will be keen to make their presence felt in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season. CSK made a headline purchase of England allrounder Ben Stokes in the 2023 auction for a staggering 16.25 crore. His all-round attributes and killer attitude could work well for the MS Dhoni-led side. Stokes is that match-winner CSK needed. New Zealand’s Kyle Jamieson is another quality international roped in. He had earlier played for RCB. CSK can make Chennai a fortress and take things from there. Players like Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad hold the cards in batting. Ravindra Jadeja needs to have a defining season after a poor campaign in 2022. One major positive news is the availability of Deepak Chahar. CSK are four-time IPL winners and have the pedigree.
