Dons dented at the death as Jackson 'deflated'

MARK Jackson admitted there was a sense of deflation in the MK Dons dressing room after they conceded late on.

Elliott Bonds had initially opened the scoring for the visitors just 12 minutes in, but two goals from Mo Eisa – the second a penalty – gave Dons a 2-1 lead with less than half an hour to play. 

Alfie May saw a 78th-minute penalty saved, but proved Cheltenham’s saviour with a 97th-minute equaliser.

“We are about 20 or 25 seconds away from victory, so of course it’s disappointing,” said Jackson.

“There is a feeling of deflation, but that can’t last because of the rest of the game.
