The 25-year-old scored for a third time in his short career against arch-rivals Cardiff to put Swansea ahead at the break, before they were agonisingly pegged back by a second half equaliser Cullen pounced on a loose ball in the box to poke home early in the first half and send a sold-out home crowd into raptures.

"Liam's a local lad and the derby game against Cardiff means the world to him," said the Swans boss.
