I'M LEARNING ALL THE TIME!

WILY boss Phil Brown reckons working with the media has made him a better manager.

The Kidderminster Harriers chief is celebrating two decades in football management this year – a career which has seen him take charge in all top six tiers of English football, as well as two years working in India.

But the vastly experienced 65-year-old insists his work with BBC Radio Five Live and BBC Radio Manchester has given him a different perception of the game – and it’s given an added dimension to carrying out the day job.

“I’ve got to give a lot of credit to the media over the last four or five years,” said Brown after a third straight win to start the season sent Harriers to the top of the National League North table.
