DESIGN AND BUILD

The Pixel 9 has a more angular and boxy form factor, reminiscent of Apple’s iPhone with its flat edges. It retains signature Pixel design elements, such as the horizontal camera bar and minimalistic “G” logo. The phone’s matte aluminum side rails feel premium, but the glossy glass back is prone to smudges. It is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance, surviving up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. The front features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals. The display has a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 442ppi. Combined with vibrant colors and deep blacks, media consumption is visually rich. The uniform bezels on all sides give the phone an aesthetically pleasing and immersive look.
