Every year since 1985, Business Traveller has hosted a competition to find the best wines flown in premium cabins.
For the 2022 edition of Cellars in the Sky, we saw entries from 22 airlines spanning an impressive collection of reds, whites, rosés and sparkling varieties.
These were carefully tested by our esteemed panel of judges, comprising John Worontschak, Helen McGinn, Masters of Wine Peter McCombie and Sarah Abbott, and head judge Charles Metcalfe, founder of the International Wine Challenge.
The results were announced on February 20, 2023 at a grand prize-giving ceremony at the Meliá White House on Albany Street, London. The event was sponsored by Whispering Angel, whose fabulous displays added glamour to the occasion.
Singapore Airlines had a successful evening, scooping five Gold awards including the coveted prize for Best Overall Cellar. Other big winners included Qantas (ten awards), Qatar Airways (four awards) and British Airways (four awards). Find the full details of all the winners at businesstraveller.com
