A love story that began from a college campus, slowly making its way through the many phases of their lives, surviving long distance, pandemic, and an economic crisis. Prisca and Kevin are a match made in heaven. It’s a romance that one dreams of, together for 10 years, seen ups and downs, travelled the world and tied the knot in two beautiful ceremonies, first in Colombo, then in Chennai

Prisca was Kevin’s senior in college. As a college tradition, she, with her group of friends were getting the new comer’s introductions. Kevin rapped, took everyone by surprise and impressed Prisca with his attitude and zeal. What began as friendship evolved into something more special over the years. From an unofficial date at a KFC to a romantic candle-lit dinner at Dynasty, Harrisons Hotel, their fondness of each other grew with the time they spent together.

“I was taken by her simplicity and her love for people and community. She is driven by her love for the ones around her. She wants to help those in need.” Kevin admires her passion and was moved by her empathetic nature. “ I remember this one time when she took me on a scooty to the homes of the lesser privileged. Every single one of them knew her and loved her. She would spend time with them, genuinely care for them, she is a gem of a person.

These moments brought me closer to her.” They’ve known each other for more than 15 years - a bond that has only become stronger over the course of time. For the most part, they were in a long distance relationship but that couldn’t deter them from constantly being there for each other. They took time from their schedules and travelled various destinations together.
