James Middleton 'MEET MY LITTLE PRINCE'
New Zealand Woman's Weekly|November 06, 2023
He’s no stranger to tough times, having gone through severe depression and the failure of several businesses. But now James Middleton is blissfully happy and a tiny little boy called Inigo can take the credit for much of that joy.

James and his wife Alizee became parents a few weeks ago with the arrival of their first child, and the Princess of Wales’ brother admits becoming a dad has left him overwhelmed with emotion.

“He has been in our lives for just a few weeks but they have been the most special of my life, getting to know our beautiful baby boy,” James, 36, shared. “No matter how prepared I thought I was, I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotion of meeting Inigo for the first time, and the love for my darling Alizee as we became three.”

James posted photos of his son, including one of the newborn lying in his pram being watched over by four of the family’s dogs.

“The dogs have been fantastic at welcoming their little brother into the pack – although Inka needs to know the teddy bears are not all for her,” wrote James.

He shared a particularly poignant image showing Inigo’s tiny fingers resting in James’ palm and touching a brooch containing a photo of James’ beloved cocker spaniel Ella, who died earlier this year.

“I’ve told him all about Ella and that if it wasn’t for her, he wouldn’t be here today, and that we miss her greatly.”

James has previously credited Ella with helping him through his darkest days of depression, writing, “She saved my life when I feared I couldn’t be saved.”
