Josie Gibson has become a TV favourite since shooting to fame 14 years ago. But despite the upbeat and bubbly personality she’s well-loved for, there have been some dark moments for the star.

During a discussion on This Morning, the presenter, 39, revealed that she was targeted by cruel trolls over her weight following her stint on Big Brother back in 2010. Josie admitted that the online abuse took a huge toll, leaving her in constant tears.

‘I remember getting out of Big Brother and the things they used to say about me – I would cry on a daily basis. But when I lost weight people were awful,’ she said. ‘I don’t feel like I get shamed as much as I used to though, I do feel like things are changing.’
