Seven’s Angie Asimus ‘LIFE’S ABOUT TO GET BUSIER!’

Baby number two is on the way and the weather presenter is happier than ever

The past few months haven’t been all sunshine for 7News weather presenter Angie Asimus.

The 36-year-old has just passed the first trimester in her pregnancy, and behind her ever-professional smile she has been suffering terrible morning sickness, which was compounded by a bout of COVID-19.

“I just remember sitting on the Sunrise desk going, ‘Oh my gosh, please don’t throw up on the hosts,’” Angie laughs, stroking her belly.

“In those first few months when you’re not really telling anybody, when you’re feeling so wretched… at that point, I was doing Sunrise and my 6pm news job, so it was double shifts.

“Lots of deep breaths and I got through it!”

But despite this, the star is bubbling with excitement to be expecting her second child with her husband, Chris Abbott.

“We were planning to have another baby, so it was very expected, but it’s still such a joy back in 20to discover that it’s happened,” says Angie from their home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
