Gone are the times when Indian housewives were just confined to daily household chores and had the least interest in using the internet.

When compared to working women and college students housewives now use internet services at a significantly higher rate. Indian housewives are establishing themselves on social media. They enjoy discussing everything from saas-bahu gossip to food recipes and candid photos to shopping trends and housekeeping.

Additionally, the Messenger services offered by vivid social networks make their social journey even simpler. When discussing the role that the internet plays in the lives of housewives, social media, emails, and shopping for one's use and the household are frequently mentioned.

Social media transcends geographical, economic, and political boundaries to facilitate long-distance social interactions. Additionally, social media platforms are dynamic because they can be utilised in a variety of ways depending on the user's preferences.

For instance, various homemakers can utilise Facebook in various ways.As a  result, some viewers may be inactive and only engage in self- interested activities like watching the content, while others may engage in limited activities like commenting on the content, responding to it, and interacting with their social circles through sharing, informational use, messaging, and other activities.

Posting, reposting, or even vlogging/blogging might be more popular ways for some to interact. On the other hand, some housewives might even attempt to engage in economic trade. For instance, many apps today enable urban homemakers to present their small businesses.
