WITH SIMPLE MIXING AND STIPPLING YOU CAN FLIP AN UNLOVED CABINET, SO IT LOOKS SWEET AS CANDY FLOSS
WORK OF ART

1 Clean the piece of furniture using sugar soap. Leave to dry. There's no need to sand, as this step-by-step is designed to encourage texture and character.

2 Prime the piece, but only if you think bleed-through will be a problem (where the oils within the wood are sucked up by the paint). If in doubt, you can always do a test first on the underside or back.

3 Remove any hardware (or leave on if you would like to paint over them and incorporate them into the design).

4 Paint on two coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Pure using the chalk paint brush and a stippling technique to add texture and character - this will also ensure an even finish all over, without brushstrokes.
