In the modern era, internet connectivity is as important as
transport and energy facilities for industrial growth. In this age
of the fourth industrial revolution, it is essential to ensure that
quality data is being transferred quickly, as we strive to transform
Kerala into a knowledge economy and an innovation society. It
was with this in view that Kerala announced the internet as a
basic right to its citizens, becoming the first State in India to do
so. Kerala Fiber Optic Network (K-FON) is our initiative to ensure
that people have access to this right in their day-to-day lives.
