One evening in 1958, seated on a bench at the bustling Surat station between the crowds and cries of people, Ambalalbhai attained Self Realization. For 48 minutes he could see the entire universe; All the mysteries of the universe such as ‘Who am I, what is the soul, what is it like, what are merit-demerit karmas, how does this world function, what is karma, how does one bind it, how can one be free from karmas, how can one attain liberation, etc… He received answers to all these questions in these 48 minutes. ‘Dada Bhagwan’ manifested inside him. From then on everyone started recognizing Him as Dada Bhagwan.
