And to make it even more beautiful, we have got timeless beauty Tabu who is all unfiltered in this issue and is surely full of energy and talent that Indian cinema is blessed with. I personally feel that the idea of celebrating women’s day is quite positive, as it brings in all the attention to the building block of society, who is often neglected in the structural drama of the world we live in. It’s all about the change we wish for and a small step of change can surely add meaning to life. We at TMM salute women across the world for who they are and what they do.

Meet Rhea Mazumdar Singhal, Founder & CEO, Ecoware, a one-stop solution for eco-friendly products that are 100 percent natural, biodegradable, and easily affordable. Ecoware came into light at a point of time when there was little awareness about the harmful effects of plastic. For Rhea, a recipient of Nari Shakti Puraskar, the highest civilian honour for women, the idea was to disrupt the commoditized packaging industry by creating a natural and healthy alternative to single-use plastics. In conversation with TMM, Rhea talks about the success story of Ecoware and the way ahead.

Tabu loves a good conversation, and more than that, she loves a good laugh. The actress, who is counted among one of the finest in the country, admits that people have been often been pleasantly surprised by her sense of humour. But she rues the fact that these days, she has to censor herself when she talks, lest people take it in the wrong way. “We have become so unnatural in our self-expression. I like doing interviews where something fun comes up. Now, if that’s going to be misconstrued and highlighted, how does one talk?” she questions. A great sense of humour apart, the other things our March cover girl has in abundance are spontaneity and oodles of talent. It is difficult to pick her best performance – there are so many to choose from! From Maachis to Maqbool, Virasat to Haider, and Astitva to Andhadhun, this powerhouse performer has only gone from strength to strength. Last year, she made her digital debut with A Suitable Boy, playing the beautiful courtesan Saeeda Bai. The National Award-winning actress sat down with TMM for a quick chat about her work and the projects she would love to be a part of. Was there a lot of fun banter? HEART TO HEART WITH GURFATEH PIRZADA
Look out, there’s a new hottie on the block and he goes by the name Gurfateh Pirzada! The good-looking fella made his acting debut in the Netflix film Guilty alongside Kiara Advani, and since then, the audience has been looking forward to his next outing as an actor. The actress says that she often feels like Dory from Finding Nemo, and the character’s popular dialogue is her motto in life as well. Aahana, who started her career with theatre and went on to make her television debut with Amitabh Bachchan in Yudh, is a household name with projects such as Agent Raghav, Official Chukyagiri, and Rangbaaz among others. She was also part of the 2017 sleeper hit Lipstick Under My Burkha and since then, has done movies such as The Accidental Prime Minister and Khuda Haafiz, as well as the Netflix horror-thriller Betaal.
