Let’s Get To Business : It seems as if 2012 has come and gone in the blink of an eye. Many will agree it was a challenging year in many ways – slow-moving markets, unemployment, rising costs and weak consumption patterns were characteristic of the year just past. However, there is a strong hint of optimism in the air. I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling that the situation for manufacturers and retailers – not just in the furniture and furnishings industries – will only improve in 2013.
