period with country-wide movement control order poses more challenges to the Malaysian households
with a drastic fall in overall aggregate demand, resulting in pay cuts and job losses. Parallel to that,
this study has several objectives whereby to investigate the general financial literacy and financial
capabilities of Malaysians, determine Malaysians’ literacy of the Capital Market and understand Malaysians’
preferences with regards to financial planning advisory services.
