As main themes we have Amorambique, one of the names that began up on the catwalk of Mozambique Fashion Week and which has now become a project of another dimension. As silence is golden, and for the most part our best friend, the best thing is to take refuge in the thermal waters of the Hotel Amanemu, in the Ise-Shima National Park, in Japan. Because there are landscapes and portraits that become burnt in your memory, issue 20 of Villas&Golfe; brings with it a special report, on the nation’s traditions. We paid a visit to Salinas Zacarias salt works, in Matola, Mozambique. We saw magnificent landscapes: mangroves, bird species, the biodiversity of the place and the mounds of white salt dotting the setting. Then, we found another refuge in the luxurious ‘The Brando’ eco resort, on the island of Tetiaroa, in the Society Islands archipelago in Tahiti, French Polynesia. On the flipside of the paradise coin, an important work by Salvador Dalí, The Vision of Hell, had been forgotten over time, for about 30 years, until it became one of the painter’s most emblematic paintings. Later in these pages take time to read the pages we’ve dedicated to Dalí’s Greatest Secret. Stuck between atheism and Catholicism, he converted to the catholic faith after visiting Fátima, in 1961. Without stopping, we went to meet Sitoe, one of Mozambique’s own… 
And drawing and colouring, we also bring to you an issue packed with great articles to read, while you relax on the fine sands of the Maalifushi resort, in the Maldives. Could this be the idyllic holiday you’ve been dreaming about? Perhaps.

From the magical world of idyllic destinations, to catwalks; proclaiming the latest remarkable events in the journey of Villas&Golfe;, with the celebration of 15 years of the international publication, to the holding of the final of the Villas&Golfe; International Cup circuit, an unforgettable moment. We have this and much more. If João Figueiredo had not been called to preside over Moza Banco, we would have no knowledge of the challenges that lie ahead for banking. Also, through the eyes of the Japanese ambassador to Mozambique, Akira Mizutani, we are brought an opinion about what 2017 holds for us. We want to continue to focus on a modern, young language, while never look away from what really matters to our readers.

Issue number 16 is special, in that we are dedicating much of it to Gorongosa National Park, not just for the stunning images that you can see here, but also for the story that gave rise to the As Guardiãs dos Leões da Gorongosa [The Lion Guardians of Gorongosa]. This is a very cinematographic issue. In it you’ll find a brief presentation of the co-production of Our Madness, a film shot in Mozambique… Take a rest in one of the places we suggest, all around the world, reading Mozambican lines…

After just over two years, Villas&Golfe; continues to demonstrate that it is one of the most essential publications of high regard within the country. We open this issue listening to Aires Ali, the new Ambassador to China, who tells us about his life story. And we look at the Casa do Elefante, as if there were no more colour: capulanas filling it. We present the new issue of Villas&Golfe; Mozambique to you with the most beautiful images of a paradise known as Maputo.
