This September, we're celebrating iconoclasts, headlined by our cover personality, the Chinese screen siren Fan Bingbing. After an ugly scandal in 2018 rocked the Chinese entertainment industry and forced her to keep a low profile, the consummate actress and 27-year veteran of film and television is making a resilient return to the spotlight and generating a big splash on red carpets all around the world, from the Golden Globe Awards at the beginning of the year, to a spectacular showing at Cannes Film Festival, and most recently at Haute Couture Week in July.
