If I’m filming overseas for at least two weeks, I bring curry noodles and Milo over for a taste of Singapore (laughs). Sometimes, when the food gets too oily, I’ll ask for plain rice, vegetables
cooked in water, plus my canned tuna and chicken breast from home. Gu You Ming: I do not have a strict way of controlling my diet. However, I try to consume food that has less oil and salt. It is hard in China because our meals are often prepared by the production team, which makes it hard to fully customise our meals. I will try to order specially packed diet meals once in a while to keep myself healthy. I don’t count my calories at all.
