On our cover this month is the first ever 6x6 Toyota Land Cruiser bakkie developed entirely in South Africa. We compared it to the (already large) standard Cruise double cab to show just how large and imposing it is. It was born in Pretoria… and it’s destined for the world. 
The August issue of the mag boasts a supplemental adventure guide that features three of South Africa’s bucket-list trails. These are the trails you need to ride!Volkswagen’s new V6 Amarok is a fast and impressive bakkie, but how does it compare to a properly fast bakkie? Can it hold its own against a rally bakkie, for instance? We found out.  Our road test this month is Mercedes-Benz’s GLE 500e plug-in hybrid SUV, and we also go for a spin in Suzuki’s fun little Ignis crossover.
