ZIMBABWEAN-BORN veteran actor Luthuli Dlamini, who plays Advocate Bheki Zulu on SABC 1’s most-loved show, Uzalo, is a charmer who breaks up a marriage on-set but off-set, he admits to being quite a gentleman who does not know how to deal with the admiration from women.
BEING ON TV
In Uzalo, MaNzuza, played by Leleti Khumalo, is married to a conservative and respected priest. She falls in love with a man from her past, Bheki, who is also married. “Bheki doesn’t just want to get into her panties, I mean it’s more than that you know. It’s love,” he says with his charming laugh.
His over 20 years acting experience is evident in the way he is able to execute every role he plays. He has always played roles that exude a sense of confidence, power and presence. The 51-year-old actor says he loves playing different characters.
