CANARIES
WHEN all four birds left the nest-pan, I could not have been more pleased. My records show that they were two variegated white coronas – a cock and a hen – and the other two were precisely what I wanted: a clear buff corona cock and a clear white corona cock. Both of these possessed dark coronas. Next, I needed to source decent consorts as mates. As a result, it took a couple of years before I started to breed enough canaries to have sufficient stock to select and retain just the best of them from.
