There are so many Insta-famous and Facebook-famous dogs around. We find out more about a few of them.
13 Famous Dogs On The Internet

The most famous dogs on the internet are true celebrities. Some have, or have had, millions of followers and sponsorship from big brands. Some have even made their owners millionaires with endorsements and sponsorships. Unfortunately, South Africa has a long way to go to catch up, but we do have a few local internet celebrities like Mr Miyagee. Let’s meet a few of the most famous, international internet dogs.

JIFF POM

JiffPom is the most followed animal on social media. He’s a small Pomeranian dog that holds two Guinness World Records for his speed and has made a number of appearances, including in Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” music video. He’s popular on Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram, with even human celebrities trying to get selfies with him.

BOO THE POMERANIAN

Sadly, one of the most famous social media dogs in the world crossed the Rainbow Bridge in January 2019. Boo was 12 years old and had 17 million followers on Facebook, made TV appearances, and even released a book called “Boo – the life of the world’s cutest dog”. Boo was one of the first dogs to really make it big on the internet after his owner set up a Facebook page in 2009 with photos of the adorable Pomeranian dressed up in different doggy outfits and showing him getting into mischief with his friend Buddy.
