Design is nothing but an orchestration of elements put together aesthetically, such that it feels musical. And this project is definitely going to make you hum with joy! In fact, it’s called, quite rightly, the Flute Project!
INSPIRED BY THE FLUTE
The first question I ask the creative mind behind this absolutely stunning home is, ‘Why Flute Project?’ And, Poonam Mehta, Principal Designer, AMPM, is prepared with the answer. “Look around,” she says, as we virtually walk through the home. And I immediately know! The entire home has a lovely rhythmic patterned panelling, be it on the double height walls of the spectacular living room, the custom-made furniture or the furnishing. “This pattern reminds me of a flute,” she explains, as she shares that the wall panelling is actually scooped out in such a manner that it doesn’t require much maintenance. Besides, the visual drama it offers is definitely worth the effort.
