SKODA RAPID 1.0 TSL
Since its introduction, the rapid has been a popular model in its segment. now the sedan is powered by an engine that is crucial to Škoda India’s Bs6 strategy. the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine develops 110 hp at 5,000 rpm and 175 nm of torque from just 1,750 rpm. When compared to the outgoing engine, the new TSL mill claims to offer a 23 per cent increase in fuel efficiency, 14 per cent rise in torque, and five per cent upsurge in power. Currently, the car is only being offered with a six-speed manual transmission. furthermore, the 1.0 TSL engine returned 19 km/liter under standard test conditions. they are also offering their “shield Plus” warranty scheme with every new car. Škoda is introducing a special EMI holiday offer (six months) where you can buy the car you have always aspired to right now and pay later from Diwali. Pricing starts from Rs 7.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.79 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
Škoda have stayed relevant for 125 years now. that’s no mean feat considering the levels of competition they have had to face on the way. their motto, “simply Clever”, rings true in respect of both their products and their positioning in the market. although the unexpected CovId-19 lockdown caught the industry by surprise, Škoda was among the fiRst to regroup and emerge with a seamless plan to proceed with their goals for the year without violating the rules of the lockdown. Škoda took to social media to virtually launch three new cars: the rapid TSL, the superb, and the karoq.
