£1m Dragstrip Boost
Classic Car Buyer|January 31, 2018

In an era where smaller motorsportvenues seem to be closing their doorsall too frequently when faced with noise restrictions, Health and Safety requirements and the ever-increasing demand for housing development land, it’s refreshing to see a venue making a big commitment to its facility.

£1m Dragstrip Boost

Santa Pod, the famous Bedfordshire dragstrip, is currently mid-way through an ambitious plan to resurface its main track with the aim of creating a world-class surface, a project which represents an investment of some £1m.

Indeed when we spoke with Operations Director Neale Saunders, he reported that the construction crews were down through the original concrete into the underlying clay.
