Whether it's the flawless rocket bunny kit that grabs your attention or the brutal 2JZ conversion that lurks under the bonnet, David Coleman’s Nissan S15 is a car with form and function.
Rocket Bunny, Liberty Walk, Pandem, 6666 Customs. Not so long ago, these were names that were rarely heard in the Japanese tuning scene. Masters of the wild art of widebody conversions, it was the rise of social media which saw the brands thrust into the collective consciousness of a million petrolheads the world over, when images of impossibly wide, ground scraping, uber stanced rides, ranging from slick S-bodies to the most expensive of Italian exotica, barged their way onto our iPhones’ Instafeeds. It was like a tidal wave. With increasingly extreme kits being donned by increasingly expensive cars, it seemed you couldn’t go a day without another crazy creation begging for your wide-eyed attention and lustful adoration. The brazenness of the huge bolt-on flares, gigantic spoilers and ridiculously vast wheel and tyre setups needed to fill the gaping voids now residing at each corner ensured the look was spread like a virus by a multitude of Facebook feeds.
