I didn’t get to write about the excellent latest-generation Maruti Suzuki Ertiga when it was launched. But now I get to tell you about the new XL6 which is basically the same thing, but still different if you were to believe Maruti’s insistent PowerPoint presentation. For starters, the XL6 is available through the company’s premium Nexa outlets while the Ertiga isn’t. And it’s intended to offer the ease and convenience of an MPV with the visual appeal of an SUV. That’s a 50-50 win-lose, then.
