If the previous five parts of our series on customising your truck haven’t included your specific requirements, you should find what you want here in our final feature
Welcome to the sixth and final instalment of our series on customising. Here we basically look at all the stuff we haven’t already covered, as supplied by some of the people recommended by our readers. Enjoy!
Kuda UK
“We offer a huge range of accessories and customising options in the ‘everything else’ category,” says Tim Vincent, head of product development at Ipswich-based Kuda UK.
“For starters, we’re proud to be an official distributor for Hadley Airhorns, widely regarded as the world’s leading brand. Their range is extensive and covers options both for vehicles already installed with air and those requiring a compressor.”
Prices start at just £63 plus VAT for Hadley’s round bell horns but Kuda also offers an economy airhorn range, which includes super-loud twin-tone train horns that are currently on offer at £39 plus VAT.
“With an in-house engineering team we offer bespoke catwalk options for all vehicles, along with off-the-shelf products that make increasing the safe working area behind your cab really easy,” Tim continues. “Many of our catwalk systems are ‘fleet spec’, with major UK and European fleets naming them as their number-one choice, and we also offer a full range of toolboxes in both stainless steel and plastic.”
Finally, Kuda claims to offer the UK’s largest range of stainless steel mirror guards.
“Made in Britain with the highestquality stainless steel, these are a great way of both protecting your mirrors and adding style at the same time at just £195 plus VAT for a set,” Tim tells us, “and we’re pleased to announce the launch of a new mirror-protection product called MirrorShield.”
