Chevrolet recently received an interesting cold call that it couldn’t resist taking: A former chief truck engineer was about to turn 101 and wanted to reach out to the company. With the assistance of his son, Chevy veteran Paul Hitch reconnected with the company—as well as his successor, Eric Stanczak, Chevy’s current chief engineer for trucks.
