When we paid our first visit to this show last year, we were expecting little more than a very traditional village fete, something you’d perhaps see in TV’s Midsommer, with perhaps a handful of Volkswagens thrown in. And in earlier years, that’s exactly how it was, but time has moved on, word has spread and the VW community has adopted this show as one of its own. The increase in people camping at the event was astonishing. From what looked like a couple of dozen camping units last year to well over three hundred this. There was a whole new camping field, and an overflow camping field as well.
