Gevora Hotel in Dubai has opened its doors and in doing so has claimed the title as world’s tallest hotel.
The 528-room property tops out at 356 metres – one metre taller than the previous title holder, the JW Marriott Marquis, that is also located in Dubai.
The hotel is situated in the heart of the city’s financial district, just five minutes from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the World Trade Centre (WTC), and about 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport.
