In the past few years, SFO Technologies, the flagship company of the multimillion-dollar NeST Group, has been driven by a performance culture, right from top to bottom. There has been a visible drive towards automation and they are on their way to becoming one of the few SMART factories. Meet Althaf Jehangir, the man behind the mission who is the Executive Director of NeST Group and the CEO of SFO Technolgies.
Here are the excerpts from an interview with the young dynamic entrepreneur from the family of Kerala’s first truly mulinational company.
Tell us about your role in the manufacturing and hardware business? As an engineering graduate how do you contribute to the business?
I am the CEO of the flagship company, SFO Technologies, which is a one-stop shop Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) provider for Fortune 500s. Our customers include Boeing, Airbus, GE and Philips, among many others. I am now handling more of operations at SFO.
