nearbuy FoodFood Top 100 Awards 2017 becomes the game-changer

April 12, 2017 was a night to remember for the F&B and hospitality industry. And not only because it recognised and awarded the best and celebrated the finest the country had to offer but also because it was an evening that changed the rules of the games – and raised the bar for awards in India.

Seeking to create a credible and transparent platform to celebrate culinary talent, the recently concluded nearbuy FoodFood Top 100 Awards 2017 hosted by The St. Regis Mumbai married online votes – nearbuy attracted 1,15,000 participants - with the votes of distinguished jury members led by the Queen of Indian Food Camellia Panjabi and the Food Legend Habib Rehman to arrive at the coveted Top 100 list. The esteemed jury comprised the topmost hoteliers, the biggest restaurateurs, the finest chefs, the hottest celebrity chefs, the leading food critics and authors and the best-known Bollywood foodies. There were 20 award categories and each recognised Top 5 deserving restaurants, chefs, airline food, food techs/apps and more.
