ARJUN MARWAL IS AN EMCEE, ballroom dancer, poet, executive producer, entertainer, and performer—all rolled into one! The 29-year-old is now all set to woo his audience with his acting skills as well.
Aarjun Marwal is truly multifaceted. “Whenever I perform or act, I feel like I am the same little mischievous, fearless yet vulnerable child that I was way back in my hometown, Indore!” says the promising actor, who eagerly awaits the release of his debut film, Dil Bechara. Now based in Mumbai, Marwal considers his “beautiful” joint family of 25 members, who live in Indore, as his backbone. He traces his roots to Rajasthan though, his grandfather, Govindramji Marwal, an ayurvedic expert, being from Nawalgarh, Rajasthan.
Marwal graduated from the Renaissance College of Commerce & Management, Indore, in 2010, and then in 2014, pursued an acting course at the Barry John Acting Studio and Digital Academy. Now pursuing a master’s degree in psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), every 6-7 months he attends acting workshops as well to learn newer and more updated techniques.
Artistic bent
Talking about what motivated him to pursue acting, Marwal says, “It has got to be the joys of performance and the newness of it all. I love to perform, and that feeling of living a new character each day, each play and in each scene gives me an incomparable sense of joy.”
