Sailing through body curves, 100 kilos and fitness as easily as she breezes through her roles, Bhumi Pednekar is unlike contemporary heroines.
Bhumi Pednekar is in a happy space. She’s enjoying her slim and svelte self as much as she’s anticipating positive feedback for her much talked about film Toilet Ek Prem Katha (TEPK). What’s more she’s been paired opposite superstar Akshay Kumar in the film directed by Shree Narayan Singh. “This is my second film after Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015, director Sharad Kataria). So it’s like my relaunch,” she says about the love story with a social message.
She asserts the film isn’t preachy at all. And will leave the audience with a smile on their face. “The characters are so simple and real. Their problems are basic. In their world there’s no hatred, no jealousy. People there don’t hurt each other on purpose,” she says.
