She was a beacon of light for the downtrodden, who considered her their saviour. Such was her impact that more than 400 people have reportedly died of shock emanating from her passing away. And it wasn’t a sudden death, mind you. That would have resulted in a tsunami of grief, riots and loss of lives in thousands. She had been battling ill heath for the past year and a half. Her fans, her followers were aware of her illness and were kind of expecting her demise. Even then, the response was unprecedented.
