DEVESH SHARMA PROVIDES A BIRD’S EYE VIEW OF THE 6TH FILMFARE GLAMOUR & STYLE AWARDS 2019

The Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards offer the stars a chance to dress up in their snazzy best and be awarded for their glamour and style quotient both on-screen and off it. It’s the stress-free version of our main event. Hence the grins are wider, the handshakes firmer, the hugs warmer as laughter fills the air.

Rajkummar Rao, known for his avant garde roles, looked dapper as hell in a three-piece suit. He was the first to arrive. He patiently waited for his category to be announced before zooming off as he had a late night flight to catch. He left the venue beaming, having won the Risk Taker of the Year trophy. Thanks for your commitment Rajkummar.

Rakul Preet Singh too had an early flight to catch and hence wanted to leave soon. But we requested her to stay and present an award. She gladly presented Ananya Panday with the Emerging Face Of Fashion Award. Mouni Roy too had a 7 am shoot the next day but dropped in to cheer for her colleagues and friends.

Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan, who’re rumoured to be seeing each other, sat together during the show. They even took a cute couple snap together in our photo room. The ‘pati’ and ‘woh’ do make for a fine pair.

Kartik, who won the Ages Ahead Hotstepper of the Year (Male) trophy, was the centre of attention. Kriti Sanon, with whom he was paired with in Luka Chuppi, came and sat with him and chatted awhile. Kriti attended the event with sister Nupur Sanon.

Kriti walked home with the Fit and Fabulous trophy.
