Neha Dhupia And Angad Bedi Are Looking Forward To The New Arrival In Their Lives. Ashwini Deshmukh Joins In Their Excitement

Ashwini Deshmukh
Meet The Parents
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are going through the best phase of their lives. The journey from turning best friends to husband and wife and now awaiting parenthood, has been life-defining for them. Trust the couple to live it up even in the midst of their heavy work schedule.

Neha’s pregnancy has indeed brought them closer. The actress gushes about her hubby, who has made it his mission to be by her side at every step, to protect and pamper her. “We’re pregnant!” they exclaim together. From renovating their house, to making time for each other, the duo is busy creating memories. It’s a celebration they’re looking forward to...

Marriage and parenthood – you’ve taken on so much responsibility in a year, Angad.

ANGAD: I don’t view Neha as a responsibility. This is something I wished to do. It gives me satisfaction. I love her and am happy to see her smile. I’ve been commitment phobic all my life. I didn’t settle down with anyone else because it wasn’t meant to be. It never came to me as clearly as it came with Neha.

Neha, how are you celebrating your pregnancy?

NEHA: It’s been a lot of fun. We put it out in the open pretty late; I was six and a half months pregnant when we actually spoke about it. One way I’m celebrating is by working every day. It keeps me on my toes. I thought it was a myth that you need to eat for two until I got into my eighth month. My appetite has gone up four fold. Also, I can do the things I want to only because of the support I’ve received from everyone – Angad, my parents and my doctor. Angad is concerned when I step out but doesn’t stop me. (Laughs) So nothing has changed except my size.

What was your first reaction when you discovered you would be turning parents?
