POWERLESS pawn Britney Spears is waging a desperate battle for her two sons — and her own life, say insiders, who claim child custody concerns are the real reason the songbird asked a court to free her from being under the thumb of conservatorship after 13 years.

Stripped of kids Sean Preston and Jayden James, now 15 and 14, forced to use birth control so she can’t have more children and banned from touching her earnings or $60 million fortune without the okay of conservators, the 39-year-old Baby One More Time singer is fighting to be freed from a decade of slavery to people who use her as a cash cow, sources say.

She’s frantic to gain back custody of her teen sons from ex-hubby Kevin Federline, who she charges manipulated conservators — her dad, Jamie, and career managers — into giving him full custody and paying him a whopping $60,000 a month in support, according to insiders.

A source close to the songbird says she “is sick and tired of being taken advantage of!”
