TV TALK show queen Ellen DeGeneres is a friendly jokester in front of the camera, but behind the scenes she’s called “The Meanest Gal on TV” for her explosive fits and the nasty high-handed way she treats her staff and friends, sources say.

The 62-year-old chat star’s reportedly such a monster, even some of the celebrity guests on her show can’t stand her.

“She’s got a bad reputation in the business, and she’s done nothing to make it go away,” snitches an insider. “Ellen can be vengeful and spiteful, childish and petty, and she can hold a grudge like no other!
