TROUBLED twosome Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are hoping to put their year from hell behind them — by renewing their vows over the holidays in a desperate bid to keep their love alive, say sources.

TV’s 62-year-old queen of mean wants to prove her long-suffering 47-year-old spouse comes first — ahead of Ellen’s daytime talk show and her many celebrity friends — and is going all out to show it, sources say.

“Ellen sat Portia down and had a heart-to-heart with her, telling her how important she is and how she wants to make their marriage work,” dishes an insider.
