Ryan gets cold shoulder as rocker eyes nuptials with hometown gal

JUST months after ending his engagement to longtime on-off squeeze Meg Ryan, wedding bells will soon be ringing for music man John Mellencamp and his hometown Hoosier honey, TV’s Nurse Jamie, sources say.

GLOBE has learned the rock bad boy, 68, and the 49-year-old celeb skincare guru plan to tie the knot as soon as the coronavirus crisis lifts — and Meg WON’T be on the guest list!

Although Mellencamp’s rep insists the couple isn’t tying the knot, an insider spills, “John has already proposed to Jamie and wants to marry her as soon as possible.

“He believes Jamie is the love of his life and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Once things get back to normal, making her his wife will be John’s top priority.”

Adds the source: “The ceremony will be fairly grand, with a couple hundred guests. John will go all-out to make it a fairy-tale event, as well as a big celebration of their love story.”
