Not too long ago, a newly sober Amanda Bynes warned that “drugs can really take hold of your life”. But fears are growing that the former child star has slipped back into her potentially fatal old habits after ditching rehab.

Appearing outside a court in LA recently, sporting faded pink hair and chugging cigarettes, the 33-year-old She’s The Man actress made for a distressing sight.

“Amanda seemed to be totally wired and was talking at a thousand miles an hour,” an onlooker tells NW. “She’s barely recognisable to what she once was and has aged so badly.”
